SUMMARY
The Otake FC2R is a compact 100V rice huller (rice husker) for small-batch rice processing and quality inspection. It can process even a handful of rice, with a standard processing capacity of approximately 60–120 kg/h.

OTHER GRAIN APPLICATIONS
The FC2R is originally designed as a compact rice huller, but its compact size also makes it useful for small-batch dehulling trials with other grains.
Grain characteristics can vary greatly by crop, variety, grain size, moisture condition and degree of drying. There is no single standard operating speed that applies to every non-rice application. For other grains, begin with a small quantity, adjust the operating speed and feed rate while checking both hull removal and kernel breakage, and repeat the process as necessary.
BUCKWHEAT
Buckwheat is particularly sensitive to operating speed and can break easily. One-pass dehulling may be approximately 50–60% under reference conditions, although actual results vary depending on crop condition, variety, grain size, drying and other factors.
For thorough dehulling, grade the buckwheat by size, dehull it, screen out the already-dehulled kernels, and then process the remaining hulled grain again. Lower-speed pulley and V-belt configurations can also be used when gentler processing is required.
ADLAY (HATOMUGI)
Results vary considerably depending on the material. As a general reference, approximately 50–90% may be dehulled. Drier grain is more prone to breakage, so lower-speed processing is preferable when breakage becomes a concern. Because separating hulled and unhulled grain can be difficult, repeated passes may be necessary while checking the result.
OATS
Oat kernels are relatively robust compared with some other grains. As a general reference, approximately 80% may be dehulled, and repeating the process about twice may work well without intermediate sorting, depending on the material.
OTHER GRAINS
Other small grains may also be tested with the FC2R, but there is no single recommended setting that applies to every material. Start with a small batch and adjust the operating conditions according to the grain and the result you need.

Which frequency should I choose?
Choose the FC2R version that matches the frequency of your local electrical supply: 50Hz or 60Hz. If you are not sure, contact us before ordering.
Can I use FC2R with 110V, 120V, 220V, 230V or 240V power?
