Four-row onion transplanters carry out field planting. OPD-4 is the flat-bed option; compare OPT-40H and OPKR-40 below for other applications.
EXPLORE OPD-4 ↗POT448 is a 448-cell tray for the MINORU pot system. Its compact layout helps reduce onion nursery area. Y-shaped bottom slits drain excess water and let roots extend below the tray; opening flaps release seedlings during mechanical transplanting. The tray functions as part of the transplanting machine.
THE MINORU APPROACH
MINORU offers machinery and materials for distinct jobs, from seeded-tray preparation and nursery raising to field planting. Consider how each component fits the work you need to mechanize.
OSE-12H brings tray feeding, bed-soil filling, sowing and covering into one process. It is designed to sow coated onion seeds individually into the tray cells.
LSPA-61 supplies potting soil to the sowing machine, while LSPA-82 stacks sown POT448 trays. MINORU recommends using both with OSE-12H to support the sowing operation.
The four-row range includes OPD-4 for flat beds, OPT-40H for high beds, and OPKR-40 for mulched or open-field planting. Compare the intended application before selecting a model.
